Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to support production operations and drive manufacturing excellence for high-strength structural aerospace fasteners.
Requirements
- Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor, resolving production issues and improving processes
- Lead and support a small team of 3 manufacturing/process engineers and CNC programmers
- Develop, standardize, and maintain manufacturing processes, including work instructions, routings, and documentation
- Oversee and support CNC machining operations including turning, milling, thread rolling, and secondary processes
- Optimize CNC programs, tooling, setups, and fixtures to improve efficiency, repeatability, and throughput
- Support new product introduction (NPI), first article inspection (FAI), and process validation
- Lead and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA requirements, and customer specifications
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time, cost, and quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams
