Engineering Intern

This position will work with senior process engineers on new product/process development in the thin film coating department. The engineering intern will gain hands-on experience in process development and machine assembly, work alongside industry professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects. The role will involve experiments, testing, and collaboration with other engineers and manufacturing personnel.

Requirements

• Perform experiments and testing
• Collaborate with other engineers and manufacturing personnel
• Use spectrophotometers, computers, and engineering software
• Lift light objects (less than 30lbs)
• Create 2-D CAD drawings
• Use hand tools and light shop equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Team-oriented and able to work independently
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and time management
• Skills in Excel, programming, design tools, etc.
