Job Description
Job Description: Develop familiarity with Coherent's portfolio of thermal materials and thermal management techniques. Conduct thermal testing and analyze results. Summarize data and present findings to engineering team and management. Practical experience in chip level thermal management for the AI datacenter industry. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of engineers in an R&D and manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Physics, mechanical engineering, materials science majors
- Experience working in a laboratory environment and following safety requirements
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data processing (Excel, Matlab, Python, R, or similar)
- Prior experience related to thermal management, heat transfer, and/or fluid dynamics
- Experience with G-Code
- Citizen or permanent resident
