Illumination Health + Home is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for beginning-to-end recruitment process, including creating job descriptions and posting job ads online, interviewing candidates and assisting in selecting the best possible candidate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a preferred focus in business or other related fields
- 1-3 years' experience in recruiting/talent acquisition with internal recruiting experience
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and HRIS system UKG Ready
- Strategic alignment of current headcount and ability to forecast future staffing needs with organizational growth
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment marketing platforms
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools and methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated assertiveness and initiative in taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
