Job Description
Impossible Cloud is a B2B cloud platform aiming to become the leading cloud provider in Europe and beyond. Founded by serial entrepreneurs, they offer cloud object storage similar to AWS S3 and are redefining the cloud sector by bridging decentralized infrastructure (DePIN) and mainstream B2B cloud use cases. They are seeking an experienced (Staff / Principal / Lead) Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a scalable platform that supports core business components, focusing on distributed systems and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- Experience with distributed storage systems, such as Ceph, and modern distributed database solutions.
- Proven track record of deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and deployment tools like ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools (GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, etc.).
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining service-defined networks within Kubernetes, e.g., service meshes like Istio.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, network policies, etc.).
- Proficiency in AWS and GCP cloud platforms, leveraging their services for enhanced scalability and redundancy.
- Strong skills in Linux environments and shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Golang (plus).
