C# Back-End Engineer

We're an independent European digital product studio looking for a C# Back-End Engineer to join our team. As an engineer, you'll be working on developing new user stories, fixing bugs, and creating readable and testable code. You'll also be using AI tools to enhance your development workflow.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C# and.NET 6+ (3-5 years minimum)
• Good working knowledge of Docker
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services)
• Use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) to support your daily development work and improve code quality
• Exposure to database technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, or InfluxDB
• Some experience with messaging and broker systems (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiarity with Terraform, Go, or Elastic Search is a plus
• Master or bachelor degree in Computer Science/Informatics (or equal through a proven track record)
• Good understanding of common software engineering practices, like OOP principles, modern design patterns, test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate fluently in Dutch and English
