Senior C# Back-End Engineer

Senior C# Back-End Engineer at In The Pocket, an independent European digital product studio. Job involves continuous development of products, day-to-day tasks include developing new user stories, fixing bugs, creating & reviewing pull requests, documenting work, performing research and communicating progress. Must have strong knowledge of C# and.NET 6+, 8+ years of experience. Good working knowledge of Docker, familiarity with at least one cloud platform, use of AI tools and database technologies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C# and.NET 6+
• Good working knowledge of Docker
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services)
• Use of AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor and others)
• Exposure to database technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, or InfluxDB
• Some experience with messaging and broker systems (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiarity with Terraform, Go, or Elastic Search is a plus
• Master or bachelor degree in Computer Science/Informatics (or equal through a proven track record)
• Good understanding of common software engineering practices
• Fluent in Dutch and English
