Job Description
IHP is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their Hospitalist Medicine team. This full-time, night shift position will involve patient care within a group of providers committed to excellent patient care and collaboration. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and patient teaching. Direct care duties include procedures and coordination of transitions of care.
Requirements
- Current State License
- Current DEA
- Prior professional experience in an acute setting
- Self-directed and motivated
- Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate admissions and discharge planning
