Job Description
Independent Hospitalist Physicians (IHP) is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their Hospitalist Medicine team. This full-time, 10-12 hour shift position offers excellent patient care and collaboration with other providers. Responsibilities include patient care, directing ancillary personnel, and policy development.
Requirements
- Current State License
- Current DEA
- Prior professional experience in an acute setting is preferred
- Self-directed, self-motivated, and works independently
- Demonstrates communication skills, leadership ability, organization and time management skills
- Ability to aid in coordination of admissions and discharge planning
