Job Description
Independent Emergency Physicians, PC (IEP) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team at Ascension Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. This full-time clinical/ academic position in a busy teaching hospital is ideal for a compassionate and experienced physician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The PED is a new, state-of-the-art facility with a separate lobby and EMS entrance.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Michigan medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid DEA license and Controlled Substance license (State of Michigan)
- Certified in PALS, ACLS, and BLS
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or significant experience in pediatric emergency care
