Adjunct - American Sign Language instructor position available at Indian River State College. Requirements include a Master's degree in Deaf Education or Communication Disorders, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a related field, and prior teaching experience preferred.
Requirements
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Deaf Education or Communication Disorders
- 18 graduate semester hours in Deaf Education, Communication Disorders, American Sign Language, Interpreter Training, Audiology or another hearing related discipline
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Ability to work with others in a professional and cooperative manner
- Willingness and ability to work with students from diverse populations and varying grade/skill levels
- Computer literacy and experience using computers in the classroom
- Appropriate credentialing requirements for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
