Adjunct ESL instructor is responsible for teaching ESL students, maintaining certification, and meeting credentialing requirements. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in ESL, English, or a related field, and experience in teaching English as a Second Language.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English as a Second Language (ESL), English, Foreign Language or a related field.
- Coursework and/or experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL);
- Flexibility in work hours;
- Computer proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and the internet;
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds, including students with limited education in their native language;
- Ability to pay close attention to detail as well as the possession of good judgment and a strong work ethic;
