Instructing ESL students, assisting in language laboratories, and maintaining certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English as a Second Language (ESL), English, Foreign Language or a related field
- Coursework and/or experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Flexibility in work hours
- Computer proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and the internet
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and possess good judgment and a strong work ethic
- Credentialing requirements for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
