Job Description
Indiana University Health is seeking a Full-Time Paramedic Assistant (ALS/BLS) to provide care to ill and injured patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations. The role requires coordinating patient care, relaying information, adhering to protocols, and ensuring patient safety. Must possess the required knowledge and skills to properly care for and manage patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of ACLS;BLS;PALS;EMT-P Indiana Paramedic license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) or equivalent
- NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 (Initial probationary period)
- 1+ year ALS Paramedic experience preferred
