Development Manager- Flourish

Development Manager - Full Time position at Flourish Affordable Housing Communities in Hamilton, Ontario. Lead project management and ensure successful development projects through defining project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget. Oversee team and external consultants, establish project budget, and monitor all work and financials throughout a project.

Requirements

• Four-year technical degree
• Two years of related work experience in the development field
• Commitment to upholding and modeling Flourish's mission, values, and operating standards and policies
• Industry experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability
• Experience in fields of architecture, construction, real estate development, or planning approvals is considered an asset
• Understanding of legal and planning frameworks within Ontario and socio-political awareness of Provincial, Regional, and local planning issues
• Membership in OPPI/CIP as candidate or Registered Professional Planner (RPP) is considered an asset
• Excellent organizational skills in leading projects, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines
• Advanced written and verbal communication in English
• Self-motivation and willingness to work co-operatively with senior staff and colleagues
• Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and other software as required
• Valid driver license, access to a vehicle, and ability to attend to development sites
