
Job description
The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer role focuses on improving the strategic long term reliability of the site's electrical and instrumentation systems and supporting the site's day to day operation with electrical expertise. The role will provide technical support during upset conditions, including leading Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations, troubleshooting of complex electrical issues, and Management of Change (MOC).
Act as the electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME), lead or participate in investigations into electrical equipment failures, provide decision making support to Asset Managers and Engineers, develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve electrical and instrumentation system reliability, and provide oversight for routine system and infrastructure checks.
You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of demonstrated electrical engineering experience, strong working knowledge of electrical power distribution, motor control and industrial instrumentation systems, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
