
Job description
The Production Engineer will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize operating units to drive process and product improvements. They will apply technical knowledge to detect causes of deviations in quality, capacity, yield, and energy consumption. The role is responsible for safe and efficient operation of assigned production unit using established operating discipline and procedures.
Monitor and troubleshoot operating units, optimize process and product improvements, detect causes of deviations in quality, capacity, yield, and energy consumption, maintain plant assets and protective systems integrity, and deliver established production targets.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, 5 years of chemical plant experience, and exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. They will be a safety role model, have problem-solving skills with data analysis ability, and be able to lead by example for all safety and environmental programs.
