BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (BHT) AM/PM

The Behavioral Heath Technician (BHT) provides direct support to clients in a residential or outpatient facility, monitoring behavior, supporting treatment plans, and ensuring safety. The role involves facilitating therapeutic activities, responding to crisis situations, and collaborating with clinical staff to provide comprehensive care and treatment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a psychiatric facility or substance abuse treatment setting
• Experience working with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and addiction recovery principles
