Job Description
The Maintenance Helper is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical and plumbing systems, maintaining hardware, furnishings and specialized equipment and/or performing preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, multi-zone and heating/ventilating units, exhaust fans and other equipment, construction, maintaining and repairing wood and concrete structures, performing remodel work and maintaining, protecting, preserving, decorating and painting the interior and exterior painted surfaces, structures, equipment and furnishings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
