Motor Test Engineer

The Test Engineer will play a critical role in testing, evaluating, and validating electric motors and their associated control systems. This involves developing and executing comprehensive test procedures, recording and analyzing data, and providing detailed performance reports. The role demands a high level of technical proficiency in both software and hardware testing environments, with a focus on automation, data acquisition, and the use of advanced diagnostic tools to ensure high-quality results.

Requirements

• Developing and executing comprehensive test procedures

• Designing and implementing test algorithms
• Conducting testing on electric motors with integrated VFD
• Setting up and operating test equipment and instrumentation
• Collecting, recording, and analyzing test data using LabVIEW and TestStand software
• Maintaining detailed and organized test logs, data sheets, and reports
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with test equipment and test setups
• Collaborating with Engineers to interpret test results and suggest improvements or modifications
