Senior Software Engineer

Infleqtion is a deep-tech startup seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development and productization of software systems that interface with cutting-edge quantum and embedded hardware. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering skills, experience leading software development teams, and a passion for modern software development environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with React and Next.js frontend frameworks.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar modern Python web frameworks.
• Familiarity with embedded software concepts (device drivers, low-level APIs, hardware communication protocols).
• Demonstrated experience leading software development teams or acting as a technical lead.
• Deep understanding of modern development workflows (Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing).
