The Tower Foreman oversees all aspects of wireless tower construction and maintenance, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with customer and Company standards.
Requirements
- Supervise daily activities of tower crews
- Climb and perform work on communication towers and elevated structures up to 500 feet
- Serve as a safety leader on-site
- Lead the installation, testing, and maintenance of antennas, radios, hybrid cables, connectors, and mounts
- Interpret construction documents and RF specifications
- Manage job site logistics, materials, schedules, and documentation
- Perform and oversee advanced testing and troubleshooting
- Conduct quality assurance checks
- Supervise the tracking of on-site inventory and materials
- Maintain and inspect rigging, hoisting, and climbing equipment
- Maintain open communication with management
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Train, mentor, and evaluate tower technicians
- Travel regularly to job sites
