Job Description
ING is looking for a Director to join the Trade & Working Capital Solutions team of ING Americas, based in New York. The role requires taking a leadership role in delivering new revenue for the franchise and advising clients on appropriate solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in banking, financial services
- Master's level education or similar advanced level degree
- Expert understanding of working capital fundamentals, including pitching, structuring and end-to-end implementation
- Experience working in a global financial institution is strongly preferred
- Experience in structuring complex (multi-jurisdictions), Supply Chain Finance and Receivable Finance transactions is strongly desired
- Expert understanding of Trade Finance Solutions, in particular Standby Letters of Credit
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid problem solving skills and creativity that can be translated into financial structures with an emphasis on mitigating credit and transaction risks under various financing structures
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial with strong credit risk background
- Resilient and committed, able to deliver within tight deadlines and under pressure
