Role Overview
As a Principal Agentic AI Engineer, you will work closely with data scientists and product owners to build multi-agent frameworks and orchestrate interactions between agents. You will ensure robust, scalable AI capabilities that are integrated within the bank to deliver real business impact.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and evolve agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, from concept to production. Translate business problems into scalable, maintainable technical architectures.

Requirements
- Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics
- Pro-active mindset and a natural tendency to guide, mentor, and influence other engineers
- Confidence to create, challenge, and spar on plans, architecture, and technical direction
- Strong business mindset, able to communicate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical problems
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in fast-moving and evolving environments
- Strong Python programming proficiency and solid software engineering foundation
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g. Gemini, Claude), RAG architectures, and vector databases
- Experience designing and running production-grade ML systems, including monitoring and observability
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, or very strong experience on another major cloud provider
- Experience designing systems using cloud-based managed services
- Practical knowledge of microservices architectures, REST / gRPC APIs, and async programming models
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks (ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI) and multi-agent workflows (strong plus)
- Strong engineering discipline around version control, testing, documentation, and code reviews
- Comfortable working closely with data scientists, data analysts, product owners, and SMEs in newly set-up or evolving teams
- Able to bridge business intent and engineering execution to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions
