ING is seeking a Vice President, Regulatory Data Governance to implement global policies, control standards, and frameworks to meet control objectives, and translate global regulatory priorities into local execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration (with a focus on data management or compliance), or a related field.
- Over 10+ years of professional experience managing data within a banking (FBO) or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of Fed, NYDFS, BCBS 239, and other regulations related to Data Management
- Skilled in assessing current data practices to identify gaps and potential vulnerabilities.
- Experienced practitioner able to work with minimum supervision and provides guidance as required on identifying, managing and controlling project-related changes.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives.
- Easily adapt to a new environment and take responsibility to get the work done.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders
