The Aftermarket Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of compressor spare parts, service contracts, AMCs, overhauling solutions, and other aftermarket offerings. The role involves managing existing customer relationships, identifying new service opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in aftermarket sales, service sales, or technical sales in compressors, industrial equipment, or rotating machinery
- Strong understanding of air compressors (rotary screw/reciprocating/centrifugal)
- Ability to read engineering drawings, understand parts lists, and interpret technical documents
- Knowledge of maintenance practices, breakdown diagnostics, and compressor system components
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-centric, proactive, and target-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- Good presentation and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel for customer visits
