Compliance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager to work for a Legal firm in Birmingham. This is a newly created role and an exiting time to join the firm. The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Firm's risk management and compliance frameworks meet all necessary standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Promote and embed a culture of compliance throughout the Firm.
• Provide coaching and guidance to wider teams on compliance standards.
• Address compliance-related queries and offer effective solutions.
• Provide expert advice on compliance issues.
• Conduct compliance risk assessment training workshops for internal staff.
• Lead internal reviews and compliance audits to assess adherence to regulations.
• Advise internal management and partners on the implementation of compliance programs.
• Manage relationships with external compliance partners.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on compliance issues that require further investigation.
• Evaluate existing compliance systems to ensure they are robust and effective.
