Oracle Cloud Data Architect

Seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Data Architect / Engineer with expertise in SQL-based data architecture and enterprise reporting platforms to design, develop, and maintain scalable Oracle Cloud data architecture and database solutions for analytics and reporting environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years in a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineering role with strong SQL expertise
• Experience in the life insurance domain is preferred
• Proven experience designing cloud-native and hybrid data architectures
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Strong expertise in SQL (advanced joins, window functions, performance tuning)
• Hands on experience with Oracle Databases (Autonomous DB, Oracle 19c/21c preferred)
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) components
• Experience designing enterprise data models
• Familiarity with ETL / data integration tools and batch data pipelines
• Strong understanding of data migration, reconciliation, and validation strategies
• Experience supporting reporting and analytics platforms
• Proven ability to optimize database performance
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated experience with data governance, data security and privacy regulations
