Electrical Supervisor

Role Overview

Supervise and direct the electrical and instrumentation team to execute work in a pulp and paper operation. Work closely with the mill maintenance manager to ensure equipment reliability and uptime. Manage safety programs, E&I maintenance staffing, and labor and material costs.

What You Will Do

Manage E&I processes, safety programs, maintenance staffing, and labor and material costs. Assist Maintenance Manager and engineering with capital expenditures and major expense projects. Develop and implement work planning/scheduling processes.

Requires strong E&I background, participative leadership capabilities, and ability to motivate others. Must have experience leading a work team in a Union environment and knowledge of PLC and DCS programming.

Requirements

• Demonstrated strong E&I background
• College degree in mechanical engineering or other discipline
• Ability to organize and direct maintenance work
• Excellent participative leadership capabilities
• Strong knowledge in Program Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributive Control Systems (DCS) programming
• Demonstrated experience successfully leading a work team in a Union environment
