Job Description
Join Innovation Charter High School as a Special Education Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Deliver inclusive, rigorous ELA instruction and build strong readers, writers, and thinkers. Partner with general education teachers, families, and student support teams to ensure students with IEPs access rigorous instruction and make meaningful academic and social-emotional growth.
Requirements
- New York State Students with Disabilities Teaching Certification
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- Experience supporting adolescents with IEPs in inclusion settings
- Familiarity with Regents-aligned instruction, Common Core standards, and NYC special education systems
