Job Description
Mechanical Planner responsible for planning and estimating multiple craft disciplines, developing detailed job plans, and assisting with tracking and expediting material. Planners must be able to work closely with all disciplines to develop efficient job plans and schedules.
Requirements
- Ability to walk down jobs for scoping and planning, including climbing stairs and ladders to heights of 150 feet
- Ability to plan and estimate multiple craft disciplines
- Ability to develop detailed job plans in a database with a Bill of materials
- Ability to order material using SAP requisitions and reservations
- Ability to monitor backlog of work needing to be planned
- Ability to assist with tracking, kitting and expediting material
- Ability to assist with development and refining of the Primavera P6 Schedule
- Ability to build plans using the methodology of producing a Turnaround Schedule
- Ability to work closely with all disciplines to develop efficient job plans and schedules
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate a digital camera or Tablet
- Ability to read & comprehend P&IDs, Equipment Drawings, Isometric Sketches, Procedures, Inspection Test Plans, Inspection Maintenance Plans, Blueprint Files, & Mechanical
