Planner, Mechanical (Fixed Equipment)

The Mechanical Planner position is responsible for planning of maintenance functions at the La Porte manufacturing site, developing planned job packages for mechanical repair work and improvement projects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years fixed equipment craft experience
• Planning experience within SAP software is strongly preferred
• Demonstrate strong listening, written, and oral communication skills
• Committed to quality and safety
• Strong knowledge of equipment in a manufacturing/plant environment
• Ability to accurately read blueprints and drawings
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad diverse team of business partners
• Able to work under minimal supervision, handle multiple projects, and changing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
