Behavioral Health Therapist III

Inova's Peterson Life with Cancer program Family Center in Fairfax is looking for a Spanish Speaking Behavioral Health Therapist III to join the team. This individual will provide individual and group support to Spanish speaking patients and families impacted by cancer, as well as the broader oncology population.

Requirements

• Master's Degree, Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field
• Three years of experience post licensure in mental health/substance use disorder treatment, psychoeducational programming including targeted, evidence based interventions (crisis intervention, trauma, and integrative therapies)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire
