The Group Tour Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operational management of our Small Group Tours, ensuring departures are fully prepared to run smoothly. The role involves acting as the first point of escalation for operational issues, leading the annual group tour allocation project, and managing operational relationships with suppliers and key external partners.
Requirements
- Strong operational or sales experience within the travel industry, ideally in group tours or a similar environment
- In-depth knowledge of Japan and/or South Korea as travel destinations
- Highly organised with the ability to manage complex workloads and prioritise effectively under pressure
- A calm, solutions-oriented mindset and confidence in decision-making
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Comfortable using systems and data (including Excel) to support operational delivery
