Job Description
Instacart is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II, Core Experience to enhance its backend systems powering a seamless user experience. This role focuses on improving content discoverability and purchase processes, leveraging data-driven features and collaboration with ML, product, and data science teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can lead innovation and drive efficient development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in backend languages (Ruby or Go)
- Solid foundation in unit testing and problem-solving
- Exceptional communication skills and leadership
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with recommender systems & personalization algorithms
