Safe Medication Management Fellowship

The Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) is seeking a healthcare practitioner for a one-year Safe Medication Management Fellowship. The Fellow will work with top experts in medication safety and participate in networking, project-based calls, and medication error reporting.

Requirements

• Communicate with healthcare practitioners and consumers related to medication safety inquiries
• Participate in networking and project-based calls with drug information vendors, regulatory agencies, and professional organizations
• Review, categorize, and analyze medication error reports
• Develop proactive risk assessments for specialty pharmacy medications
• Author medication safety newsletters and journal articles
• Conduct literature review and research on medication safety-related topics
• Contribute to medication safety consulting work and prepare presentations
• Co-precept PharmD students and participate in medication safety-related projects and summits
