Technical Director (Temp to Hire)

As a Technical Director, you will lead a senior engineering team to develop a complex, stateful, multi-agent simulation engine driven by generative AI. Your focus will be on guiding the team, scaling the existing foundation, and driving the project to a successful, polished launch.

Requirements

• Own and evolve the technical vision
• Lead architectural decision-making across the stack
• Drive delivery health by evaluating feasibility and shaping scope
• Mentor and unblock a senior, multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Uphold code quality across backend and frontend systems
• Act as the technical bridge across Engineering, Design, Strategy, and Production
• Partner with clients and external teams as a senior technical advisor
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Technical Director
• Establish best practices for AI-augmented engineering
• Apply deep expertise across Full-stack development, Systems Architecture, and GCP
