The District Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing profitable growth across all district locations, developing and mentoring sales and operations personnel, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven results in the sale of building materials
- Ability to maintain existing and develop new relationships with vendors, customers, and employees
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Strategic planning, sales management, negotiating, and vendor management experience
- Ability to achieve set goals in a timely manner
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to travel an average of 60% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years in sales and employee development; insulation or building material sales experience preferred
