Winder

IPS is seeking a dedicated Winder to join their team. This role involves rewinding electromechanical equipment, inspecting for damage, and testing results. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
• Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
• Ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions
• Ability to operate and perform VPI
• Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and decision-making related to routine duties
