Requirements
- Actively participate in IEL's new hire training program, focusing on operations, and customer service skills.
- Work alongside an experienced Logistics Account Executive on the sales floor
- Perform various account management tasks such as load building, appointment scheduling, phone management, and email correspondence
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods by making dispatch and check calls
- Apply what you've learned and begin making prospecting calls to potential customers
- Problem solving skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Proficiency in keyboarding and ability to maintain the technical knowledge necessary to perform the job effectively, specifically Microsoft Office products
- Genuine interest in a sales career
- Active enrollment in a degree-granting academic program
