As a Sales Specialist at American Health Plans, you'll be responsible for presenting and selling health insurance products to customers over the phone, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring their needs are met. This position is an in-office role with base pay and uncapped commission pay.
Requirements
- High School degree minimum, some college or a college degree is preferred
- 1 or more years of experience in Sales
- Active Health Insurance Licenses preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written
- Customer service skills
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and can prioritize tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Proficient computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Window-based applications
- Willing to work Overtime, including extended office hours during the week and on weekends, during peak / open enrollment November - mid January, each year
