Director, Business Development

Intellisense Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director, Business Development to drive business growth across the Corporation focusing on a military service branch and associated Tier 1 system integrators. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing technically complex programs and engineering tasks, and be able to assume leadership responsibility for capturing large military programs and transitioning them to program execution.

Requirements

• A minimum of an Engineering bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar with 7+ years' experience in engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in Business Development with demonstrated results.
• Program management experience for avionics programs/systems.
• Practical understanding of technology transitioning, product/market development, and marketing/product planning for US military applications.
• Knowledge of conducting and directing competitive product analysis using market research techniques and a solid technical understanding of service/agency needs and requirements.
• Superior proposal development/writing and basic contracting/negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication (presentation, written, and verbal), and relationship building skills.
• Good problem-solving ability to work with a diverse work force.
• Relevant experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) a plus.
• Business degree is a plus.
