Mechanical Assembly Technician

Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team in Centralia, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a skilled laborer in heavy industrial manufacturing operations and be able to read and understand basic wiring schematics and layout diagrams. The job requires assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment and components, as well as siding and door installation. Requirements

• High School Diploma plus one-year experience working as a skilled laborer in heavy industrial manufacturing operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand basic wiring schematics and layout diagrams
• Experience with various hand tools
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to take ownership of and resolve challenging technical support issues
• Ability to work within timelines
• Must be willing to travel up to 5% of time
