Quality Control Test Technician - Electrical

Perform electrical tests and inspect products using quality methods such as ISO 9000 or Six Sigma Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology plus three years related experience working and testing high voltage electrical distribution equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and layout diagrams
• Experience with various hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, electrical testing equipment
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely with medium to high voltage testing equipment and three phase power
• Demonstrated proficiency to achieve high quality test results
• Attention to detail
• Strong electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic skills
• Must be able to read and interpret test data, schematics, electrical diagrams
• Requires strong interpersonal/customer skills
• Requires strong computer skills in setting up and testing equipment
