Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory tests and procedures to aid in disease diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment, under the supervision of a licensed laboratory technologist or senior lab manager. The role involves preparing and analyzing patient samples, operating laboratory equipment, and maintaining accurate records of test results.
Requirements
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution
- Registration with the Ugandan Allied Health Professionals Council
- At least three (3) years of working experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician
- Tracked professional experience in the Ugandan healthcare setting
