Job Description
The Senior Consultant of PICU will direct and oversee the daily work within the pediatric ICU subunit, care for pediatric patients, lead a team of physicians, and contribute to OPD Clinics. They will report to the Chief of Unit and attend meetings to evaluate patient care.
Requirements
- MB.Ch.B. or equivalent from a recognized University
- M.Med. in Intensive Care Medicine or Anestesiology (or equivalent)
- Registration with the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- Minimum 12 years of work experience in Intensive Care or Anesthesiology
- At least 3 years in Pediatric Intensive Care/Critical Care service as Senior Consultant
