High School Special Education Teacher - SY 26/27

Intrinsic Schools seeks a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will work in a collaborative POD team to serve students with a wide range of disabilities. The position involves developing IEPs, implementing instructional programs, and working with students, parents, and staff to support student growth and success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution
• Valid LBS1 license required
• Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
• Ability to create IEPs
• Strong knowledge of current special education topics and methodologies
• Comfort using educational technology tools
• A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality
• Ability to build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism
• Ability to consistently meet daily and weekly deadlines
• Strong work ethic, reflective mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement
