We are seeking a Senior Power System Engineer to take ownership of power system modelling, leading projects from early-stage concept to commercial deployment in the field.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in electrical power system design, modelling and simulation, including power electronics dominated networks (e.g., HVDC, STATCOM, FACTS, grid-forming/grid-following converters)
- Strong Proficiency in power system simulation tools such as PSCAD or DIgSILENT PowerFactory
- Solid understanding of power system fundamentals, including protection principles, stability, fault behaviour, harmonics, and grid code compliance.
- Experience translating customer or system-level requirements into simulation models and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to tackle unfamiliar and complex technical challenges independently.
- High level of ownership and delivery focus, with experience managing work packages or projects end-to-end.
- Clear and structured technical communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to present complex analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders or customers.
