Job Description
IonQ, Inc. is seeking a Senior PCB Designer to collaborate with a talented team of engineers and physicists to develop high-performance PCBAs and supporting electronics for innovative R&D initiatives and commercial products. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between complex theoretical designs and physical hardware, ensuring precision sensor systems are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Requirements
- Technical degree, relevant certification, or equivalent hands-on industry/military experience
- 6+ years of professional PCB layout experience, including fabrication and manufacturing support
- Proficiency with modern PCB design tools (Altium Designer preferred)
- Experience with high-density (HDI) layouts and multilayer boards
- Strong understanding of grounding strategies, power routing, and general electronic systems
- Deep knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and industry-standard manufacturing documentation
- Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and electronic test equipment
