Insurance Denial Specialist

Iowa Orthopedic Center is seeking an Insurance Denial Specialist to monitor Accounts Receivable recovery for insurance carriers and provide excellent customer service. The role involves daily monitoring of insurance accounts, answering questions, and working with patients and payers to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Knowledge of daily, monthly, yearly process of the insurance patient account representative position
• Knowledge of CPT/ ICD-10/ HCPC with regards to auditing accounts for correct reimbursement
• Prior experience with workers' compensation preferred
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to demonstrate strong customer service over the phone and in person
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
